The eternal return to somewhere you've never been...

Hey all,
the "eternal return", the concept that time is ciclic and not linear, can be considered a way of living life. As far as Nietzsche and some of his people say.
Now you're asking how.
the thing is: you can imagine that time passes in a ciclic way, and thus the best for you would be to keep the cicle turning in something you like. I mean, if you like surfing, going to parties and playing cards with your friends (or taking your dog out, your girl to the movies and reading blogs on the net) (or visiting your grandchildren and eating the superb food of your daughter, etc.), than it would be awesome that the cicle of your time in life switches between these things.
Obviously this cannot be done eternally. But the idea is: can't this be a good way of living life?
The thing is that our posts on physics don't help this idea. Ciclic time is obviously the "illusion" of a "concept" in your mind. Even if you thing a moment can be lived in a similar way plenty of times, this does not apply till no matter which level. You can repeat good days almost perfectly, that's clear. But, as the sentence says, "almost".
This makes the hole difference. This "almost" is the thing that makes our perfect day change while we live. Maybe when you're 18, you want to go surfing, parties and cards. But when you'll be 30, you'll probably be more to taking your dog out, and your wife to the movies. And with 60, you'll hate the cinema and will enjoy the company of your grandchildren playing around you.
See? The eternal return is a way of seeing things that physically do not apply. That's for sure. And in terms of wisdom, it leads to an inevitable mistake.
Hehe, i'm not saying you should try to repeat good days, but be sure that this won't be there forever, and that someday you'll want something else..
cheers. Uula
