Wait for her sign..

Even though the hole XVIII'th century humanism based their hole philosophy over this idea i sometimes give second thoughts about it.
The "perfectibilty" of men, the "freedom" that leaves us to choose between will and instinct. Or, as Rousseau said (and was resued by every humanist after him):
Well, a free translation by me would be: "men are, in a certain way, free to choose not to follow instincts, animals not."
So, the other day i was in a bar with a guy who told me this simple trick he used: "you like the girl, so look at her. Eventually she'll discover that you're staring at her. Well, she won't be sending you kisses the hole night on..but if in the moment after she discovered you she puts her hair behind her ears, she likes you."
The conclusion i get is: Rousseau was not a ladies guy.
