A post to the little Anna, from the film "La faute a Fidel".
Don't worry about your communist father. He's a good man, trying to do his best for the others. I understand your side too, after all it is not your fault that you like to have a room just for you and a big garden.
You have to understand the sisters in your school. Catholicism has been used badly for a long time, but the problem is not the idea, it's the people...anyway, it can teach you one good thing, which can be defined as "l'esprit de groupe", following your father. After all, the moto "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" is the best sintesis of it. But please, forget Adam and Eve...
You have also to understand grandma. She's been taught by life that work is the thing that defines people. And she's right. After all, it's hard work that gives you the priviligedge to have your room, and a garden. Why would you share your garden with your neightbour if, while you were working hard all these years, he was doing nothing but drink?
Forget the systems, both are short minded. Focus on the people, cause we're slowly finding out..anyway, you'll be fine. You live in France, you have the best social security system in the world...
Bisous. Passe une bonne journée.
PS: Isn't art great? Cheers.
